Editorial Standards & Corrections
These are the rules that govern what gets published, what gets retracted, and how an operator who believes they have been misclassified can formally respond.
Evidence chain
Every factual claim on a case page maps to at least one public, linkable source. Screenshots are kept as archived references only — they never stand alone as evidence. If a source link rot-deletes, we substitute a Wayback Machine capture and mark the switch in the page’s update log.
Claims derived from reader submissions are labelled as such and are never merged with regulator findings without a separate source.
Conflict-of-interest disclosure
- No case page carries paid placement, affiliate links, or sponsored promotion.
- No operator, recovery firm, or law firm pays to be listed, removed, or reclassified.
- The author has no active position (long or short) in any cryptocurrency or security associated with a listed case at time of publication.
- If a relationship with a listed entity ever exists (e.g. an operator commissions a private audit), it is disclosed at the top of the relevant page before any content.
Operator right-of-reply
Any operator named on this site may request a right-of-reply statement of up to 400 words. If the statement is substantive (i.e. contains new verifiable evidence, not just marketing denial), it is published alongside the verdict with a timestamp. A right-of-reply statement does not automatically change the verdict — only new evidence does.
Requests: parfweb@gmail.com with subject line RIGHT-OF-REPLY: <slug>.
Corrections policy
When a factual error is identified — by a reader, an operator, a journalist, or internal audit — it is corrected as follows:
- Material correction(changes the verdict or misattributes an action to a specific entity): the page is edited, a “Correction” note is added at the top of the page with the date and summary of the change, and the
dateModifiedtimestamp is updated. - Minor correction (typo, broken link, clarified wording that does not change the verdict): edited silently and reflected in the
dateModifiedtimestamp only. - Retraction: if a case was published in error, the page is replaced with a retraction notice that stays live at the same URL — URLs are never silently removed or 301’d to unrelated pages.
Report a factual error: parfweb@gmail.com with subject line CORRECTION: <slug>. Include a public source for the correct fact.
AI & automation disclosure
Tooling is used for translation (English → German, French, Swedish), factory layout of regulator-warning case shells, and copy-editing. Every verdict, every status assignment, and every evidence cross-reference is reviewed by the human editor before publication. No verdict is issued by an automated system.
Not legal or financial advice
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, or investment advice. If money has been lost to a listed platform, the next step is a report to the relevant regulator (FCA, FBI IC3, CFTC, local police) — not a “recovery” service that messages victims from scam-review comment sections.
